Playing the new action video game from Visceral Games on the XBOX 360 will give the gamer 42 achievements to try to collect.

Dante’s Inferno was released February 9th, 2010 in the US and February 12th, 2010 in Europe from Visceral Games and EA (Electronic Arts). The game is classified in the action genre. Action video games have had a huge rise lately and with Dante’s Inferno bringing great XBOX 360 achievements to unlock it is sure to be a crowd pleaser. These are all the achievements currently available for this action video game.

5-10 Gamerscore Points

The lowest amount of gamerscore points available in game, these are often the easiest to achieve.

Slaughter at Acre – Fighting against the prisoner at Acre will be worth 5 points.
Bad Nanny – Killing 20 of the unbaptized babies will be worth 10 points.
Footsteps of a Traitor – Finding 10 pieces of silver is worth 10 points.
Betrayed with a Kiss – Finding 20 pieces of silver is worth 10 points.
Burning Eyes – Sending Charon back into the abyss is worth 10 points.
Confessional – Killing 5 of the Heretics is worth 10 points.
Countermeasures – Killing 20 of the enemies while using a counter move nets 10 points.
Demon Slayer – Killing 30 demons nets 10 points.
Give me Strength – Opening 20 health fountains is worth 10 points.
Holy Warrior – Killing 30 minions is worth 10 points.
Indigestion – Killing 5 gluttons is worth 10 points.
Masterpiece – Performing a 200 hit combination is worth 10 points.
Precious – Finding a Beatrice stone is worth 10 points.
Relic Hunter – Finding a relic is worth 10 points.
Sorcerer’s Apprentice – Opening 20 mana fountains is worth 10 points.
Superstition – Killing 20 while using magic is worth 10 points.
Warming Up – Performing a 50 hit combination is worth 10 points.

15-20 Gamerscore Points

These are slightly harder to get over the 5 and 10 point achievements.

Abandon All Hope – Breaking through the Gate of Hell is worth 15 points.
Dark Relics – Finding all of the unholy relics is worth 20 points.
Forbidden Love – Finding Francesca da Plenta and Paolo Malatesta and absolving them is worth 20 points.
Light Relics – Finding all of the holy relics is worth 20 points.
Old Friend – Finding Brunetto Latini and absolving him is worth 20 points.
Poetry in Motion – Performing a 666 hit combination is worth 20 points.
Power of the Cross – Finding all three Beatrice stones is worth 20 points.
Well Done, Judas – Finding all 30 pieces of silver is worth 20 points.

25-30 Gamerscore Points

These are moderate achievements and are harder to get, therefore are worth more points.

Like Father Like Son – Defeat Alighiero to get 25 points.
Lovers Torn Asunder – Defeat Marc Antony to get 25 points.
Sentencing the Judge – Defeat King Minos to get 25 points.
The Great Worm – Defeat Cerberus to get 25 points.
Death’s Apprentice – Reaching the unholy level 7 gets 30 points.
Light in the Dark – Reaching the holy level 7 gets 30 points.
Holy Man – Maxxing out the holy path gets 30 points.
Man of Evil – Maxxing out the unholy path gets 30 points.

35-40 Gamerscore Points

These are nearly the highest points available in the game and are achieved far into the game.

Gates of Dis – When one enters the lower circles of The Inferno it is worth 35 points.
The Harrowing – Escape Heresy for 35 points.
Brotherhood – Defeat Francesco for 40 points.
The Guide – Collect all of the Virgil commentaries for 40 points.

50-100 Gamerscore Points

These are the highest points available in the Dante’s Inferno game.

Bitter Sweet – Save Beatrice for 50 points.
Soul Reaper – Collect 60,000 soils for 50 points.
The Damned – Either punish or absolve the 27 shades of the Inferno for 50 points.
Gates of Hell – Defeat all enemy waves that are in the Gates of Hell Arena for 60 points.
Lucifer’s Match – Defeat the Emperor of the Woeful Realm for 100 points.

Playing through the entire game of Dante’s Inferno on the XBOX 360 gaming console will net you 42 gamerscore point achievements. While these have no real significance nor does it unlock anything in the gameplay itself, many try to get all the achievements a game has to offer to increase the number shown on their gamertag.
